Hardwood

Glowing with warmth and character!

Benefits of Hardwood

Rich and inviting, hardwood makes a distinctive statement. Because of a great range of natural variations—from boards with extreme character, graining, and color variation to those that are evenly colored and consistent—lustrous hardwood can create a uniquely beautiful floor. Your kind of floor. Warm, stylish, and original.

Hardwood flooring is a great investment for your home. Though higher in price than carpet or vinyl, hardwood increases the value of your home.

The appearance of hardwood flooring improves over time as it acquires a patina with age. Hardwood flooring can be recoated so it can be refinished to its original look.

Hardwood is easy to maintain as waxing is not necessary for urethane finishes. It will clean up with ease and hardwood is among the longest lasting of any floor types.

Engineered Wood Flooring

Engineered wood flooring is an eco-friendly alternative to solid hardwood. Engineered wood flooring is real wood. It has a 1/16” to 1/8” finished wood top with plywood underneath.

Engineered wood flooring has several installation options. Engineered wood can be purchased as a nail-down (3/8” thick), glue-down (1/2” thick), or floating floor (5/8” thick).

The engineered wood floor is more expensive than laminate, but is better value over time. Engineered wood flooring can be sanded to revive the wood grain and remove any surface scratches.
